DIY VALENTINE’S DAY FIZZING BATH SALTS by Greta Brinkley

Pour yourself a beverage, light a few candles, and add some of these DIY fizzing bath salts to your bath.These Valentine’s fizzy bath salts are the perfect gift for your Valentine, your sister, mom, or even your daughter. 

1 ounce Epsom Salts
2 ounces Baking Soda
1 ounce Cornstarch
1 ounce Citric Acid
1-2 drops Cherry Soap Colorant
15 drops Strawberry Fragrance Oil
1 teaspoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon heart sprinkles

Add the dry ingredients (Epsom Salts, Baking Soda, Cornstarch and Citric Acid) into a medium size glass bowl, one ingredient at a time.

Stir until completely combined.In a small jar with a lid, add soap colorant, fragrance oil and olive oil.

Place lid on and shake well until all liquid ingredients are combined. Slowly add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients, whisking the entire time. Continue whisking until you have an even texture. It should be kind of crumbly. Add the sprinkles to the mix and stir to combine.

Place the fizzy bath salts into a decorative jar.

Use 3-5 tablespoons of fizzing bath salts in your bath
